Calatheas are a diverse group of houseplants, grown primarily for their unique and highly attractive foliage. Naturally found in tropical regions, they’re guaranteed to bring an exotic look to your home and will dazzle with their decorative leaves. The Calathea Wavestar produces dark green, glossy, lance-shaped leaves with soft, wavy edges. Tiny hairs cover the leaves and stems giving this plant its velvet-like texture which gives them their other common name of the Velvet Calathea.

• Watering: Little and often. Keep soil damp at all times but not waterlogged.
• Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity levels. Mist regularly.
